2 Introduction
This is an overview of our settings and how to get the NEO 2000 Storage library with FCO3 Card and two HP FibreChannel LTO3 drives to work with McData Sphereon 4400 4Gb switches.
3 Sphereon 4400
Both drives and the FibreChannel Option (FCO3) card are connected in point-to-point (ptp) mode to the McData switch. In hardware this means 3 separate FC cables coming from the library plugged into the switch.
3.1 Configuration

3.2 Status
BE ADVISED: Although you specify port type Gx the port will show as FL in the port overview on the switch

4 Overland NEO 2000 FCO3
4.1 Access the webinterface
In order to configure the FCO3 card you have to have access to its webinterface.
If you have trouble to access the webinterface you can download the QuickNav tool. It will find your FCO3 card on the network.
4.2 Configuration

4.3 Status
The FCO card behaves a bit strange when it comes to the FibreChannel link status. Sometimes the FCO3 FC link led on the back of the library is lit but the status page states that the link is down. You can safely ignore the led, as long as the status page shows down - your link will be effectively down.
